How to create an minimum viable product website?

I want to create a website with just the picture of the products, their descriptions and then to drive Google ads traffic to there.

I was thinking if I can use a free wordpress site to do that and what will happen if they click on the buy button? How do I find out how many people clicked on the Buy button in order to test my minimum viable product?

There are heaps of free ecommerce themes on wordpress. I've only used premium themes so I can't suggest a free one of the top of my head but if it's for a very simple store, any of the popular themes should do.

As for the people clicking the buy button, I'm assuming you ask because you don't want people to be able to purchase right? If so, just remove all payment options from the checkout page. People will still be able to add products to cart but won't be able to pay for them on the checkout page. This might give you an idea of how many people are interested.

Hope that helps. I'm not familiar with a set up that let's people click on purchase and then disrupts the sale so it doesn't go through and registers the clicks, but something like that may exist.....

hey man! All right? If it's just to analyze the metric how many people clicked on your link, you can place a facebook pixel on the button's landing page. It is a very easy solution and will show you how many people clicked. You can still do a remarketing campaign for these people over the facebook network. You can put the google pixel and the facebook pixel on the same page, no problem.

    Hope this helps

Use any Wordpress theme it doesn't matter. But what matters is that you create a different page (URL) for every product you want to test. For best results, randomize the order in which the products display on landing page (homepage).

    Install StatCounter.

Go chill at the beach for a few days. Come back, click "popular pages" in Statcounter and see what are the most popular products past 48 hours.

If you want to retain users I heard some guys say "out of stock" after they click on any product page and say "we can email you when this product comes back?" and then you can collect their email address for later.

Maybe one of the solutions is "Fake Door"! You can use the fake door test because this is a nice way to gauge whether they'll be interested in a new product or feature.
