what needs to be done so my software will only work for a free month but stop thereafter? What needs to go out from me to prevent my potential customers from just reloading the trial over and over?

    Use a permanent object to verify the user. Something like social security number or credit card details. So, the user cannot reload the trial version your software again and again as these details cannot be forged.

      I was under the impression that something like cookies get put on hardvdrives when someone downloads trial software. Isnt it cookies that prevent consecutive trials no?
