Problem with uploading sales page, help needed

Iv just uploaded my website but when i go to the adress in my web browser i get a white page with :

Index of/

404.shtml
401.shtml
403.shtml
404.shtml
500.php.shtml
index.html

Does anybody know the reason why my index page is not appearing??

    If you click the index.html link, does it bring you to your home page? If so, I'm wondering if your server is set somehow to ignore index.html as a valid home page. I'm assuming that you're just typing in www.mysite.com as the address, and nothing more.

    Hmmm... Why don't you put the link up so we can have a look - see what happens - at the very least, it's one way to test on different browsers.

    If not, I would have a word with your internet host and see if there's an error on their side or try re-uploading the site again, see if that works.
