Web design schools

I am interested in learning web design. What would be a good school?
I have looked into several online schools, but have read many bad things
about online colleges. Any helpful advice welcome.

    Check the community college in your area most of them should offer some sort of web design related classes. The ones here offer fast track programs like 4 months they will teach you the basics.

    There are also computer based training cd (cbt) like Lynda.com and totaltraining.com

    Learning all the technology is nice but in this industry if you want to make a name for yourself you need to be very original and creative.

    Are you after some sort of certification, or do you just want to learn the fundamentals of web design and development.

    You may already be aware of it, but if not the W3 Schools are an online resource that is second to none in educating you about the fundamentals of web technologies:

    It doesn't cost a cent either!

    There are plenty of evening courses on this topic. Or you could theoretically learn web design by yourself if you are willing to set aside the time to learn. Its no biggie (webdesign)

      I suggest you should learn the basic language for the web designing process which is managed by the html, php and java.That is must for the web design.

    I guess it's better if you search for a real 'offline' school, otherwise you can use google for learning how to be a good in web design.

    Buy some books and use them in conjunction with youtube and search for examples as well as implement the concepts with your own creativity.

    For what your expecting schools for the learning just go and use W3schools web site choose web design category and learn yourself and give workout and this is the easiest easy to learn...

    Do you know any software's such as dreamweaver, photoshop. I design my sites using these software's. If you do know these softwares then I would suggest you to give it a shot yourself before going for some school. See the templates available online for reference. Then run your imagination and make your web site. If you need some help we are here to give advice. It worked for me and I am doing good.
