Nofollow External Links????

Hi all,

Have done a search on this but come up with no conclusive answers...

One of my main websites has around 20 banner adverts running down the side which are paid for by external companies/websites. These are all related links and therefore not there simply to benefit from my PR.

Am I losing 'link/PR-juice' by making them dofollow??

So my question is... would making them nofollow be beneficial?

    If you follow what Matt Cutts says then yes, all links (internal and external) on your page pass some of that page's pagerank. Bu making the external banner links nofollow you will then strengthen the "juice" you pass to other linked pages... hint... hopefully they are internal pages to build strength and authority in your site.

    I tend to believe Matt as he works for Google.
