Wordpress siloing

Is "siloing" a wordpress site as easy as just creating categories with subcategories? Or do pages vs. blog posts come into play?

Any insight from someone who really understands this would be great. Trying to come up with a system to construct sites that are repeatable and reproducible for other niches authority sites

    I think you also need to modify your theme or use a plugin to add the nofollow attribute to, as Bruce Clay puts it, control link flow and funnel PageRank to the site's most important pages.

      If I have my keyword categories and subcategories could you do that for me if I had you install a new wordpress theme? WooThems "Inspire" or this theme

    Well sometimes I hear siloeing as referred to not only categorizing your site in a seed>broad>longtail format and having a unique permalink structure as well.

    Go into Permalinks, and select "custom". in the text field, enter /%category%/%postname%

    That will give your urls a silo structure.
