css positioning question

On some of my pages I have added social sharing buttons from digg, stumble, facebook and twitter. These buttons sometimes have the tendency of loading slowly, so I decided to put the code for the buttons at the bottom of the page with a position:relative, so the buttons are loaded last, after the content.
But since none of my pages have the same length, the buttons are not showing up in the correct place on the page.

Is there a way to make my buttons load after the content and still have them show up in the beginning of the page at the correct location regardless of the screen resolution?

Thanks!

My suggestion is to do away with what you are using.
Get some icon images you like add them to your site via FTP and simply link to the social sites.

This way all loading is done from your site.
The best would be a sprite (one image with all icons) but that gets a bit technical to explain without the images.

I would need to see the site to tell you what to do for the position problem.

I agree with the above... likely the images are too large... and should be resized or use different one...

or perhaps depending on what your doing.. your using a script of some kind..

youd have to post the link and see the code.. for me to know for sure though
