Do you think Dreamweaver CSS is worth upgrading from Dreamweaver 8?

    Lambert,

I've used Dreamweaver since version 4 (currently using CSS) and in my humble opinion the answer is 'no'.

The product similarly to Fireworks has become a lot more bloated since it became an Adobe offering and I recall version 8 being fine for my needs.

As always it depends what you want to do - as the above poster mentions, it will have become more bloated since going over to adobe (everything they sell seems to). It is probably unnecessary for your needs so personally I wouldn't bother.

I don't know much about Dreamweaver as I just code everything out on my own. I'd recommend you learn how to just do it on your own. I think it would make things a lot less complicated in the future. Then again, I don't use Dreamweaver so I don't really know.

I hand coded everything by hand when I first started. This was before Dreamweaver and maybe even before Windows I even did machine language (assembly) back then for Dos.

Believe me Dreamweaver is much easier, faster and better. You can always look at the code and tweak it.

I can't imagine coding raw html amymore.
