How do I remove links at the footer of my blog?

I don't see them in the footer.php, the links are just below the WP Theme.

Aaron,

I appreciate your help, but I cant see anything that contains anything like (insurance quotes) (web hosting) (insurance agent) in either of those files. either individually or as a full group. Any other thoughts?

It could be anywhere then.

Is it on EVERY page?

If it is then it has to be on index.php in someway.

It is probably calling another file or function to display those link.

Is this a free theme and you are trying to remove the links? Shouldn't do that if it is.

The links are not a part of the theme, they appear below the squeeze page. Its the WP flexibility theme and show up on the landing page.

I had the same problem. It always depends on the WP theme you use.

There are some encoded themes and only good programmers can delete them. Actually I did it myself and it took me around three days to decode the whole code.

I'm not a programmer so, i really cant spend 3 days at it. if I do nothing, will the likks get in the way of my link building efforts with 3waylinks?

Why do you offer to do something that is unethical... even more, illegal?

When the OP downloaded the free theme he agreed with the terms: no removal of the links. Period.

I predict you will have a very short career on this forum if you continue with posts like this

Do you know that every wordpress theme must be GPL?

I'm following that. Prove me if I'm wrong in offering a small favour, I will correct myself.

May not be illegal ( do you want to be the first test case in court? ) but it's definitely unethical. The theme creator has put conditions on the theme - and you're basically saying that his wishes mean nothing and you can do whatever you want with his product.
