When you get to this landing page, you don't need to optin but instead just connect with your facebook account...

Ran Aroussi's Plenty Of Fish (PoF) Case Study

...then it leads to the next page (case study)

...then you are automatically subscribed to an autoresponder (and you receive a welcome email)

How do you do that??
(Pretty clever I thought)

    This stuff is indeed a great idea. After a little research, I think that he must be a beta tester of this new application (Facebook List Machine - Next Generation List Building)...

    Taking a look at the Facebook API and php library, I think its a no brainer to build such an app yourself. Take a look at their samples and you can see how easy it is to get the subscribers email and do whatever you want with it (in this case add it to aweber etc).
