About Forwarding Email From Website Address?

This may not be the best place to ask this, but I thought maybe someone here might know: I have a support email address I created. it would be support@mynewsite.com ...

I set it so that when someone sends to that address, it is re-directed/forwarded to a personal email address: Bruce@personal.com...

Then when I reply to those emails, I have been just replying to the support-seekers forwarded email by hitting 'REPLY'...I'm suspicious that many of these 'replies' may not be reaching them.
...because I am not getting answers to questions I raise in these replies.

This personal email acct is in Yahoo Mail...
Which was hacked on May9, but I thought I had pretty well cleaned everything up. (changed pw's etc.)

So, it may have nothing to do with Yahoo, but just wondered if there would be any problem in my replying to forwarded emails, in the manner I described? Thanks

It worked for me as you mentioned what you did... Don't know what happened in your case. I used this technique for my hospital website where I set up forwarding of email of clients through hospital site's email to my email and then I used to communicate and get follow up through my email account.
