Would you pay for video tutorials?

Per my other thread about taking a Photoshop File to XHTML/CSS, would you pay on a per episode, per month, per year type fee to have access to online videos that hand hold you through various webdesign related things?

Case in point, I have a video of taking a moderate complex design and turning it into valid xhtml/css before our vary eyes. You literally sit on my shoulder as I go line by line and build out a page.

I normally charge $70/hr to do this type of work for a real client..and it IS 2 hours out of my time to SHOW you what I do when I build a site...line by line.

I have had several comments from people telling me my video is pretty kick ass, but is there a viable market out there that I could charge for the content? And if so, what would be the best route to go?

If you can, take the poll...but also leave some comments

Thanks
Bryan

For sure. I think the winning concept here is a Wordpress powered membership site with lots of free (but cool) simple stuff out in the open and then a paid members area.

I'm doing something similar at Joomla Tutorials & Online Training with Wordpress and YourMember. There's definitely a market. Just look at Scott Kelby and Lynda.com.

So far I've seen high quality stuff from you...I don't doubt you'll be able to run a great membership site.

Serious people pay for convenience, demonstrated expertise, and a well-defined solution to a well-targeted problem.

Time costs money and what people ACTUALLY want is a RESULT. How they go about getting that result comes down to a variety of factors. But the existence of FREE in the market to which you want to charge money should never automatically discourage you.

Good and easy is rarely cheap.

Your work is awesome, Bryan. And your first name clearly indicates that you are someone anyone with common sense should listen to. :p

Even if you spell it wrong.

      Best,
