    .htaccess 301 permanent redirect.

You move the site content from the old domain to the new one: keep the same foldr/URL structure.

Put up the .htaccess on the old domain.

    That's it.

    Hi,
Done some searching on the forum for some answers to a similar question. I have a music website. Had it for a few years now but the layout and style is looking a bit outdated so i want to do redesign. I will be using the same content but want to display the content in a different way. Would making a new site with the same content but different layout and a 301 redirect from old site work in regards to maintaining rankings?
