Nice looking forum. You have a lot of competition out there, so you're going to have to do something special to bring the users in. I like your theme, but I don't plan WoW so I won't be participating :p

Hey Luke see u in cpa tommorow.

One thing I would do unless you are doing it already is take a few characters from different realms and join the largest guild and invite everyone to your site. Each server allows up to 10 toons and up to 100 on all servers. So basically you could create 20 characters and invite like 500 people pretty quick

. Then rinse and repeat the 20 characters to a new guild. Think you got it now

There are general rules when starting a new forum.

Most common mistake: It's a brand new forum with almost no users, but there are dozens of sub forums. The bigger the forum, the emptier it looks. No one will join empty forums.

In other words, create 5-10 sub forums instead of 30.

The theme is great for a gaming-centric site. I think your biggest problem is that you lack content. Perhaps go and in self-populate the content or get your friends / family to help create content.

I think the whole idea of a forum for guides is a bit overused imo, it might be a good start for now but think about every guild hosting site out there, they all have forums that people can post their guides, etc. You want to be original, stand out from the crowd and look the part at the same time. Your domain works even though it is using a stop word, "Your" but it gets the point across. My suggestion is to do some research, if you are really wanting to go with the forum idea look at tankspot for some ideas they have a clean, easy to navigate website for guides. If you want to go with the more original route than find yourself a gaming theme or something of the sort and really put time and effort into it and expect to see people flooding to your website. This is only my opinion as a wow player and a designer. It is all your choice and i hope you do well in all of your adventures.

This is spectacular advice. Wish I could have known all this before a put all the time and effort into the current design. I kind of jumped into the niche without putting that much thought into it. I'll have to reconsider my approach.

It's definitely too dark in my opinion.
I think if you used a darker gray colour for the forum titles and info that would be better.
but yeh, I'd try some different color schemes, other than that you're working with a forum.
So the key there is to make sure it's easy to join.

Make sure there is something unique, like a thumbs up / thumbs down of some kind that is themed for your site.

Useful text editor for people to post with, .. like if you users post a lot of youtube videos of them playing the game, then find a good plugin that gives them more options for their videos.

But the real deal is getting people to join.. make it easy.

It is way to dark for me. When I land on a site like this,
my first thought is, it's just a theme. Go and look at your completion and study there colors.

Believe it or not, colors have a big influnce on vistors. Your's in to
hard to read. I had to get closer to the screen just to read it.

I play the game sometimes, but you color would may me click off and
go to another.

Best advice lighten it up and then present it to us again.

Site looks good and seems to function properly. You probably aren't getting much traffic because of the incredible amount of competition in the WOW niche
