Best ways to protect wordpress sites from hacking?

My wordpress site got hacked twice in the last couple of months. I keep my wordpress and all my plugins up to date.

What is the best ways to protect my site from hacking? Are there any plugins that can do that? Which is the best one?

Also, how do I find out if any of the plugins I use are vulnerable?

    Login-Lockdown, WP-Db-Backup, WP-Security-Scan, Wp-MalWatch

    Wp security scan and bulletproof-security are the most important ones.

    Go to google or somewhere and search for "HARDEN WORDPRESS" and you'll get a lot of articles with various suggestions. I use a CAPCHA plugin. People don't like them but oh tough, it works. Mine does MATH so my logins have to be human.

    also delete the admin account (create a new admin account first with a custom username) and change the default table prefix from wp_ to something else (there are plugins for that)

    Always update your Wordpress core and plugins on time. Apart from that have daily backups and follow wordpress hardening instructions
