Clickbank Blocking New Window Links?

I had a link that looked like:

<p><a href="http://XXXXXX.hop.clickbank.net/" target="_blank">Click Here To Party Like A Gorilla</a><p>
The current tab would blink for a moment and nothing happens. As soon as I take out the 'target="_blank"', the link works (but of course without the new window).

I've tried this link with other URLs like google.com and it worked.

I suspect Clickbank is blocking links that open in a new window. Can someone confirm?
