Is membership site w sales and points possible with WP?

I am looking for a way to make a member site where people who buy items are automatically credited with "points" which they can later use to buy reward type things.. Im hoping it is.. Not sure though....

Certainly it's possible, many sites do this.

A turn-key solution that will fit your needs exactly?? who knows......you need to search.

WordPress › Search for rewards and points « WordPress Plugins
WordPress › Search for member rewards « WordPress Plugins

and of course search the search engines as well.
If you don't find something to fit your needs exactly, then tweak a close solution (plugin), or have one developed.

Opencart has this feature embedded.

Opencart makes it also very easy to sell downloadable products. It automatically creates a download link that only works as many times as you have allowed in the settings, and then the link inactivates.

Edit. This is not suitable as a community site in itself but can easily be implemented alongside one..
