Few basic tips for designing an efficient and high quality website:

Create reliable and responsive website
Use easy navigation.
Make sure that your website is compatible for all browsers.
Design your website for all screen resolutions.
Create CSS based website instead of table structure.
Minimize website loading time by following ways:
Use Server Side Include (SSI) files
Minify CSS and Java Script code
Optimize your HTML and script code

if you ask me it looks very average. But I think that it has a lot of functionality needed.

If it was me I would change the menu appearance and move it to the right and social networking below the menu. Also you have too many products listed in the front page.

Set the brand names and show couple of sales there, possibly with a picture.

Do you mean move the menu to the right of my logo? Also, the front page is not listed with products, the links are promotions and deals from the merchants that update automatically. And by set the brand names and show a couple of sales do you mean to list the promotions and deals by brand?

Lot of changes you require to make a for this website. First of all hide the top of panel of WordPress. But i want to ask you one thing why are you using WordPress for this business theme (E-commerce)?

I think Magento would be best for that. Right?

It looks like you've done a lot of work to get the site where it is. I'm sure you don't want to see all that hard work go to waste. You're going to want to bump up the looks and make the site look as professional as possible if you expect a lot of people to trust you enough to buy. The good part is all you have to do to do that is upgrade your theme/template.

Visit other top sites in your niche. Bookmark the best, as you will want to go back to them. Make a list of everything that makes them great. Look at things like colors, fonts, layout, graphics, navigation bar, etc. Find a theme, make a theme, or hire someone to make a theme that makes your site look great.

The next step will be marketing and or SEO...

I think you need some more articles, advice golf tips etc. At the moment its just a shop front, how are you planning to get visitors without spending a huge amount of money...
also was a little slow to load.

Thanks to everyone who has taken a look at our site! I understand that the theme we are using is old and no longer supported, but we feel like if we switch to a new theme all our work will be lost. We feel the best option moving forward would be to edit this theme or use the options available to make it look better. Also, as for the site being slow..we are looking into it...

I have visited your website; there aren’t any blunder errors in the design or functionality of the site. You have to update the site with the interactive web designs and layout. Make the web designs in an interesting way so that the user is curious enough to look more in to your website. Your website seems to be plain and rough but you can make it more interesting with effective web designs. I suggest to use some helpful and really useful tools and plugins which would spice up your site as to my eyes looks like an average page which doesn't attract at all..

check this out:

There are some pretty cool tools

And also as everybody said hide the admin bar for security reason..

Overall I say it looks pretty swavy, The logo at the top should be on the right , kinda looks out of place. Also, the with the welcome message, I would put that below the slider image. Its for looks etc. Overall its well done. The admin bar should always be hidden. A video of your products on the front page would liven the environment of the website.

Use a CMS system like Wordpress. Choose a relevant template (you can buy lots of templates at Monstertemplates, etc...)
