Hi is anyone here using themify for their wp designs?

If so what do you think about it.

What about load speeds? on the newer Flat and paralox designs

What about SEO for a themify design any problems with that.

any other comments on using it

Thanks

Well i guess i am the only one giving this a try.

I have made one full site with on of the designs so far and it works great.

I did need help on a few things and the support was very fast and helped every time.

Will be working on a few more sites very soon as well.
You can change around any theme to be just about what ever you want in a short amount of time and the builder in the back end works good and is easy to use.

Hi EddieBlog I think I'm in the same camp as you are.
I was wondering about using the Themify Builder Plugin and leveraging it by also using the Genesis Framework for speed and security. Best of both worlds kind of thinking. Can any one help out and let me know if I'm on track or not. Thanks.... Albert

      Hey Eztado,
I have created more web sites with Genesis than I can remember. I agree it is a very stable and easy to work with framework. You might want to take a look at the Genesis Extender Plugin from Cobalt apps. Just Google it and it will be the first link.

The Genesis Extender allows you to easily change the look of any Genesis framework (child) theme using the built in CSS builder and even change the core functions without knowing any coding. You can pretty much create a new custom theme with the Genesis Extender plugin. I have used it and it is great plugin and only $49 and support is superb.

I have also tried using the Themify Builder plugin on a Genesis theme and had mixed results. The issue I think it that you have two frameworks working when you put that plugin into a Genesis child theme. They have to put a large part of the core function of Themify into the plugin. I say that because when I use a Themify framework theme that has the plugin functions built into the framework I don't experience any issues at all. I love the Builder in Themify. It is an amazing tool and works great. Never had any issues with it.

As they say your mileage may vary. I tend to make a lot of modifications to my sites that I create but I am just relaying my experience. It is only $39 for the plugin so it won't break the bank to try it, but I experienced some issues.

      Hope this helps.

Thanks webxprt2002 I thought Themify might conflict a bit with Genesis.
So thanks for the reply. I'm just about to check out the Genesis Extender Plugin from Cobalt apps that you suggested. Thanks again Albert

I use Themify to build a lot of my client's sites as well as my sites.

I love it and the builder is free with all the themes.

You only pay the $39 if you plan to incorporate the builder with a non-Themify theme...but they have a good mix that you really don't want to use their builder as a standalone and risk having conflict with non compatible themes.

Pavondunbar - I was looking at the builder on Themify, but it appears that it's a yearly membership? It's not a lifetime sort of thing?

Themify is a relative newcomer to the world of premium WordPress themes, but they do show a fair bit of promise. Right now their theme selection is rather limited, which is the reason i can really only recommend them for select niches and applications. Just bought yearly membership using themify coupon and saved few bucks.
