How do you get large thumbnail images in Wordpress post widgets??

Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

Viral Nova - Trending Stories and Pictures Around the Web

Notice how BIG the images are on the sidebar. Is there a Wordpress plugin that allows the images for thumbnails to be super huge? Or what? I am struggling here. The larger these images, the higher the CTR and the lower the bounce rate which is essential to building a viral site.

Any ideas? I need a good way to get a large thumbnail.

    Apart from doing it manually with a text widget and some code there are some widgets that display latest posts in your sidebar with the feature image showing. The widget I use comes as part of my theme so I can't give you an actual name but it's possible and I can also adjust the size of the image and place text next to or underneath the image.

    A quick google search revealed many choices for this type of plugin. Did you try a search in google? I just did and found many results many of which I'm sure will do what you want.

    Sorry to dig up a 6 month old thread, but I figured it'd be better than creating a new one. I'm also looking for a sidebar widget like the one OP wants.
