Tips to design a site like this !

Hello warriors,

I'm planning to design a site which will contain Webinars, Course videos etc for newly graduated students. The site will be designed on WordPress completely.

Example site : Marie Forleo will help you create a business and life you love.

Need help designing like this. The site will also need the visitors to sign-up to be a member for accessing paid videos.

Tips and Help much needed. Thanks in advance.

    First the example site isn't a ideal site for a kind of structure you're taking about.

    For this you need a custom theme structure, so first build a plan, what you wanna showcase over the portal. Then come for implementation phase.

    Sorry for not being specific. The sites contains course videos and other educational stuff. It requires a login to access those videos. So, How do i develop something like that in WordPress ? This site will use a WordPress Premium Theme. My specific question is "how do i create a WordPress site where people can sign-up, login and acces the videos and materials and also buy stuff."(will be using PayPal for transactions).

      There are many membership plugins for WP that can do this, Google and you'll find a bunch.

      Just don't buy your membership plugin based on price alone. I have abandon two membership sites over the problems some of them have and a total lack of real support (not just a forum of people having the same problems). I even had one where the posts were all mixed up for YEARS and it was nearly impossible to find the answers that were current.

    Thumbs up for Wishlist though - much better and not tied to one particular CRM.

    He (in the OPs link above) is using a customized child theme (by Kolakube.com) based off the Thesis framework. You can do that

    When in doubt, check the source code, it will tell you enough to let you search for more!

    I'd check Themeforest for a theme like Guru or another 'learning management' template, there are several!
