How do I configure PPC campaign for the following...
I want to bid $3 on the keyword XYZ programmer.
I want to bid $2 on the keyword XYZ programming.
I want to bid $1 on the keyword XYZ program.
I tried doing
+XYZ +programmers 4
+XYZ +programmer 3
+XYZ +programming 2
+XYZ +program 1
and checking off the "give me close variants, synonyms, and plurals". But as you know, I discovered that setting only works with exact match. So I'm getting all the key words mixed in the most expensive bid.
This would work.
[XYZ programmers] 4
[XYZ programmer] 3
[XYZ programming] 2
[XYZ program] 1
But then I lose searches like this:
i need to find some programmers who are really good at XYZ
So then I was thinking I could combine the two:
[XYZ programmers] 4
[XYZ programmer] 3
[XYZ programming] 2
[XYZ program] 1
combined with
+XYZ +programmers 4 (negative for all the exact matches and also the three below)
+XYZ +programmer 3 (negative for all the exact matches and two below)
+XYZ +programming 2 (negative for all the exact matches and one below)
+XYZ +program 1 (negative for all exact matches)
But then with negative match, it won't work, right? Because it will fuzzy match my negatives and mess it all up. What's the way to do it?
