Affiliate Marketing for Beginners 2020

Greetings,

Here is my little guide to creating an Affiliate Marketing business for beginners. In many ways it is meant to be followed step-by-step based on how I have been creating the infrastructure for affiliate websites, general blogs and more.

You will discover simple in-depth tips and strategies that are often mentioned on this forum with good intentions, yet may be confusing to beginners when the dots do not connect.

Let's connect the dots starting with "Step 1. The Google Account."

Go to https://www.google.com and signup for your own GMail Account.

Step 1. The first step is to obtain a reliable Email Account with Google Mail, also know as GMail. You will need a reliable email address to join all affiliate programs and PayPal. The majority of Internet Marketers utilize GMail for the reliability.

Tips: Plan in advance. When selecting an email address it is a good idea to use your website domain name or you business name. Examples: your-domain-name@googlemail.com or your-domain-name.com@googlemail.com. Also, you may use the short email address @gmail.com because Google Mail automatically redirects for you! You can use the short email address when you run campaigns and give the email address to people, example: your-email-name@gmail.com.

Primary Tip. Make sure you save the email address and your password, so you can access the email account.

PayPal Account.

Go to: https://www.paypal.com and signup for your own PayPal Account.

Step 2. The second step is to obtain a PayPal Account. PayPal is an online payment processor. All reliable affiliate companies utilize PayPal. The primary reasons are you need PayPal are to process payments from your customers and to receive affiliate commissions from affiliate programs.

Tips: There are different types of PayPal accounts. You may select the basic account to get started. Also, you may always select a different type of account at a later date. However, if you will sell products and/or services then it is a good idea to obtain a Premier Business Account. Be advised that any type of account other than the basic account does take more time.

Tip from agmccall
"There are many times we read posts about paypal closing accounts on people. Most of the time when this happens we find out the person was running a business with a personal account.

Save yourselves a potential headache and upgrade immediately."

Last, use your GMail email address that you created in step 1.

Website Host.

Go to: https://www.hostgator.com/affiliates

Step 3. The third step is to obtain your website host. There are many good website hosts and we recommend HostGator Shared Hosting with a dedicated I.P. Address for three primary reasons:
  1. HostGator provides decent hosting with a dedicated I.P. Address.
  2. HostGator provides cPanel Control Panel which is perfect for beginners.
  3. HostGator is reliable for paying out affiliate commissions.
We also recommend DreamHost and BlueHost. Both are reliable, all payout affiliate commissions on time, but they of course differ in different ways and as with any website host always reference the Terms of Service.

It is important to know that the cheapest hosting is a "Shared Hosting Account" with a dedicated I.P. Address and it is good for your business. Also, you can always upgrade your hosting at any time at a later date. This is a good idea to get started and learn the ropes as you move forward.

Be advised that affiliates are not permitted to signup for their own website hosting account through their own affiliate link. This is the industry standard with all reliable website hosts.

Tips: Signup for your own website hosting using a partner's affiliate link. Your company and your partners should have an agreement in place to remit the commissions. However, if at this time, you do not have an partner simply move forward and signup with HostGator.

It is also important to know that most affiliate programs only approve affiliates that already have a website. The affiliate program manager may review the website to insure that all of the affiliate program policies, terms and conditions are adhered to as a condition of the approval process. Also, some companies do not review the website, but they do make it mandatory that you provide a website.

Last, use your GMail email address that you created in step 1.

Email Autoresponder.

Go to: http://www.getresponse.com/partners

Step 4. The fourth step is to obtain your autoresponder service. We recommend GetResponse for three primary reasons:
  1. GetResponse is reliable and provides excellent delivery rates.
  2. GetResponse is reliable for paying out affiliate commissions.
  3. GetResponse also has an excellent Referral Program.
We also recommend the Aweber autoresponder service and it is a good idea to join both GetResponse and Aweber. However, it is easier to get started with GetResponse, learn the ropes as you move forward and join Aweber at a later date when it is convenient for you.

Tips: GetResponse has a free, but temporary personal autoresponder service. It is a good idea to join the affiliate program and the referral program and at a later date - signup for the free autoresponder service. Be advised that the policies are always changing and that is good for your business. As of this writing all GetResponse clients are automatically assigned an affiliate ID. However, unless your business is officially pre-approved as an affiliate then your business may or may not receive an award from the Awards Program.

Again, policies are always changing and it is best to join the affiliate program as well as the award program and keep abreast of all the changes.

Last, use your GMail email address that you created in Step 1.

Get Your GetResponse Web Form ID

Step 4.1

Log in to your GetResponse account.

Step 4.2 Click on Web Forms in the navigation menu and click on Create New.

Choose a template. The first template is a good choice for this guide.

Step 4.3 Click on Next Step at the bottom of the page.

Step 4.4 Click on Next Step at the bottom of the page.

Step 4.5 Click on the Show HTML Code tab.

Step 4.6 Scroll down and find the value of the webform_id field.

IMPORTANT. save the Web Form ID in Text Pad or your favorite editor.

Step 4.7 Add Your GetResponse Email Autoresponder To Your Website.
Prerequisite: You will need a website before you can add the autoresponder to your website. We will use WordPress for this guide.

WordPress is easily installed on your HostGator Website with your cPanel Control Panel. Follow this Video Tutorial:
HostGator WordPress Tutorials
https://www.hostgator.com/help/artic...stem#wordpress

Note: WordPress will install the free theme: 2020.

Tip: Get a free WordPress Theme at WordPress.org or a Premium WordPress Theme and we recommend StudioPress.com. There are very important differences between free and paid (premium) WordPress Themes. The major difference is the premium websites are developed to "high standards", so if you are creating your own website to make yourself some money it is a good idea to select a premium website for your business.

Step 4.8 Log in to your WordPress Admin and go to Appearance > Widgets.

Step 4.9 Place a text widget (1) into the primary sidebar(2).

Note: Drag & Drop the text widget into the primary sidebar.

Step 4.10 Log in to your GetResponse.com Account and navigate to the last page of your Web Form. Reminder, the Web Form was created in Step 4. Next, Copy & Paste the GetResponse Email Autoresponder "JAVA Code" into the text widget and click the Save Button.

Last, Screen the autoresponder on your website and make any adjustments per your preference while you are signed into GetResponse.Recap, You have established your business framework on the internet:
  • You have an Gmail account for all of your important business communications.
  • You have a portfolio of affiliate links to start making an income.
  • You have an email autoresponder to build a list of prospects and customers.
  • You have a basic website or a premium website.
JVZoo.

Go to: http://www.jvzoo.com/affiliates

Step 5. The fifth step is to obtain your JVZoo Affiliate Account. We highly recommend JVZoo for many reasons, but not limited to:
  1. JVZoo is reliable for paying out commissions.
  2. JVZoo promotes a two tier affiliate program.
  3. JVZoo promotes both sellers and affiliates, and much more.
The Online Journey To Your Success Starts With Capitalizing On and Monetizing the Assets You Now Have!

How To Monetize Your Website

There are many ways affiliates capitalize on the assets you already have at your disposal and two of the most important ways are to monetize your website with JVZoo and Advertisements.

There are also many ways to place JVZoo products and advertisements on a website and the most important is to utilize a website that facilitates the placement of those advertisements in the right locations.

A WordPress website with a robust WordPress Theme is one of the the easiest and best website for the purpose of making money with advertisements. It is important to utilize a flexible theme from the start, so as to make changes when WordPress changes and when the market changes! We recommend any of the long standing themes from StudioPress.com and WooCommerce.com.

StudioPress.com is one our favorites because the themes are professional in every way. WooCommerce.com is our choice for eCommerce because the themes are also professional in every way, but are a bit complicated for beginners and are more for eCommerce.

Both companies provide excellent support which is vital to any online business.

As said earlier, it is important to capitalize on and monetize the assets you already have, so lets get started.

First, setup the framework of your graphical and text advertisements. This starts with WordPress plug-ins and widgets. It is important to know now that the advertisement of a product or service must not confuse the site's visitors in any way. Too many advertisements may cause the site visitor to "browse" the website instead of clicking an affiliate advertisement.

The best way to avoid confusing the visitor is to "focus" the visitor's attention on the advertisement and relative in-context text links.

That is easily done by creating one single advertisement in a side bar or sometimes called a sidebar.

Our recommended WordPress plugin is the free Custom Sidebars: Allows you to create widget enabled areas and custom sidebars. Replace whole sidebars or single widgets for specific posts and pages.

Simply install the plug-in, create a custom sidebar, and place a text-widget in the sidebar that consists of your advertisement with your affiliate link. Last, assign or place the sidebar on your post or page.

The end result is two fold in a clever and indirect way your visitors are subtly focused on the advertisement and is not likely to cause your visitors to bounce out of your website, but more importantly increases the click-through-rate (CTR) to the affiliated product or service. The potential to make money is simply increased when your entire website utilizes this advertising strategy! You are now armed with some very important information and some very important strategies. A deeper look and you will discover that you also have an infrastructure for almost any type of website.

Please make sure that you treat all of your website visitors honestly and as you would like to be treated yourself. It is important to gain and maintain the trust of your visitors, so they will keep coming back to your website and keep buying from your website. That trust is vital to your online success.

Do it right and your website will put money in your pocket!

Enjoy Your Success!

  • This is about setting up your company email address in your website control panel, cPanel.

You will create the email address in your cPanel (your business email server) and forward the emails to your Gmail Account.

Also, you may use the email address in your autoresponder.

Why? Many of the large email providers such as Gmail,Yahoo and Outlook filter marketing campaigns that are not sent from a business email server, so you run the risk that your emails will always be filtered and sent directly to the spam folder.

    Examples to use:
    info@YourDomainName.com
    product.xyz@YourDomainName.com

This is doable after you have your website hosting control panel, cPanel. Only takes a minute or two.

  • This is the Warrior Forum Internet Marketing Glossary 2018 : A List Of Digital Terms You Need To Know

Please note the glossary was published 17th Apr 2018 meaning that the glossary needs to be updated as new terms have become prevalent, i.e. practiced or favored by the Internet Marketing community at large.

An example would be "Digital Marketing" as defined by Wikipedia:
Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital technologies on the Internet, through mobile phone Apps, display advertising, and any other digital mediums.

That is the accepted if not conventional definition of Digital Marketing. Many a seasoned Digital Marketer will tell us that it is just a new term for Internet Marketing and by association a Digital Marketer is an Internet Marketer.

    Potato, potahto, tomato, tomahto?

Please feel free to comment about the glossary if you notice that something is missing or changed since it was originally published.

Obviously, a lot of positive work went in to the glossary and is kindly appreciated.

Also there are resources for each of the terms that make for interesting reading.

    • Your welcome. If it helps you can print to a .pdf and read it without images at your convenience.

  • Suggestion for PP business account:

Make it something generic that will cross niches.

You may start out in one niche but eventually, enter many others.

If your PP email is bobssqueakydogtoys@ and later on you are selling different products it may cause some concern for your customers.

Send payment for your rocket engine to bobssqueakydogtoys@.

    • For my own products and different niche sites I use my company name in the the email address and add the statement "Your Merchant is [insert company name here].

Also, I add a brief tutorial to whitelist the email address on the return page, so no confusion.

For different campaigns and joint ventures I sometimes, not often, use an additional email address...

You can add up to 7 email addresses to your PayPal account. Each email address can be added to one PayPal account at a time.
      1. Go to your Settings.
      2. Click + next to "Email".
      3. Enter your new email address.
      4. Click Add an email address and we'll send you an email.
      5. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.
Re, paypal.com How to add additional email addresses

  • This is very good advice and detailed.

I think to help people though, you should cover how to drive traffic to the site and more on the email follow ups.

But this is pretty good and detailed.
    • [ 4 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Here is one way I cover both driving traffic and and email follow ups.

Traffic wise I drive traffic from related niche sites that I own.

Email follow ups are handled by the autoresponder, as you know, and what I do is craft the emails for the demographic and the geographic. I focus on two niches:
      1. Hunting and Fishing
      2. Wedding Boutiques
Both, traffic and emails are simple and can also be very detailed, so maybe they are best in different sub-forums. However, as long as a beginner realizes that traffic and autoresponders are essential to affiliate marketing and references the original information they will have the necessary infrastructure.

      Thanks for the kind words.

    • Yes, it is an interesting subject. I find that the WordPress Silo Structure is optimal for the Google Search Bots and also optimal for the site visitor and also optimal for subtly focusing the visitor on the money link(s).

  • So crazy, you know when audiences reading your content they will see sidebar but you have many ads over there. That is plenty of audiences don't comback your website, 2 ads are the best way for earn a first commission from affiliate marketing.

    • I think we are on the same page in as far if I am understanding what you wrote. Please correct me if I am wrong about what you are conveying.

A Typical Page (read from top to bottom, left to right)
      • Header
      • Menu
      • Body, i.e. content and relative in-context text advertisement. (Ad #1.)
      • Sidebar, i.e. relative in-context graphic advertisement. (Ad #2.)
      • Footer
That is a total of two advertisements per page and it is how I do it. With that said - a little explanation,

The Ads are affiliate links to products and/or services (P&S) either on-site or off-site.

Where the P&S are my own, i.e. I own the P&S, the links are on-site (PSon).
Where the P&S are not my own, i.e. I do not own the P&S, the links are off-site (PSoff).

Side note: The people I work with have good-naturedly come to refer to the acronyms as PISSon and PISSoff for good-natured clarity.

      A SILO Page .
      • Header
      • Menu
      • Body, i.e. content
      • , i.e. relative in-context text advertisement or relative in-context graphic advertisement.
      • Footer
My SILO pages only use one advertisement and do not use sidebars. The widget is used on all of the SILO pages.
      • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • O, thanks for useful info! I will try it on my website on Wordpress.
  • Nice guide. I like most of your recommendations but for web hosting I personally had a bad experience with Bluehost and HostGator but I understand these are good for beginners who want cheap hosting. I personally recommend SiteGround Geek plan for beginners and WPX hosting or cloudways for intermediate and above.

  • Traffic to your website is one way to generate an income.

That is a very short and simple statement and is also a
statement that does not connect the dots. Realistically, you
might get some sales, yet not enough to realize a Return on
    Your Investment.

    A better statement is..

Targeted Traffic to your website is the * ONLY * way that
will generate enough sales to realize a Return on Your
    Investment (ROI).

Conversely, you can have a well structured website with a
versatile infrastructure, a great product or service, a killer
sales letter, the best of everything yet without Targeted
    Traffic = No ROI!

    You're probably thinking something like..

"How do I generate Targeted Traffic?"

You're also probably thinking something like..

"I've heard about or read about Targeted Traffic on this forum
and watched YouTube videos about free organic traffic, SEO
Traffic tactics, Pay Per Click advertising, SOLO Ads, etc. and
maybe tried all of that and still - No ROI."

It is simple really. Time to connect the dots..

    JV Partners (Joint Venture Partners)!

JV Partners... "The absolute one thing that sets the real money
makers apart from the crowd." Warrior member Robert Puddy.

The dictionary definition of a joint venture... "A commercial
enterprise undertaken jointly by two or more parties which
otherwise retain their distinct identities." - Oxford Dictionaries

In a nutshell, when two or more entities form a joint venture
there exists the possibility to grow your business and realize
    a ROI.

Say for example you are a solo marketer with your own products
and your own website and need to grow your business. You lack
Targeted Traffic because you are a beginner with no list of
buyers. A little research shows that there are blogs and forums
that have a following of people interested in your type of
product and yet those same blogs lack products.

You simply contact the blogs/forums owners and suggest a JV
partnership. When those folks realize that working together
will grow their business - you are set!

Take it a step further and you might discover that you still
need more such as a good sales letter. Your new partner might
be great at copy, so problem solved. Then again you and your
new JV partner are in need of a good copywriter. That is an
excellent way to add a new JV partner. And so forth until you
are now on a team of like minded people that assist each other
    and make it happen.

Still, you all need to generate Targeted Traffic. Again, time to
    connect the dots.

    How?

Cross Promote! Lets say you have four or five JVs and all have
a relative website. The team cross promotes each others website
resulting in visitors joining your respective lists. Those
visitors are Targeted Buyers and they will appreciate being
    associated with your business.

The JV partnership could even be in related businesses, yet
have a major difference in products or services. For example,
say you are a real estate agent, one partner is a roofer,
another partner is an accountant. All three of you simply cross
    promote each others online business.

The end result is a list of Targeted Traffic by association and
guess what.. backlinks! In my experience, backlinks are more
important to The Google Search Engine that anything else and
will grow your Targeted Traffic online.

Earlier, I eluded that Targeted Traffic is simple via JV
partners. You might be asking yourself something like "How do I
    find JV Partners?"

    Don't worry I got you!

One resource is just one click of your mouse away..

JVZoo as mentioned in the original post.

You and your JV Partners simply signup to each others affiliate
program and cross promote each other with your unique affiliate
links. It is that easy and it is all on the up and up since each of
    you have your own account.

Also, as a JVZoo Seller/Affiliate you can see other seller's
products and seek them out. Perfect for beginners if you do not
have an offline business when you launch your new products, new
    membership sites, etc.

Simply give them a free account and set them up with a higher
    rate of commission.

Give them advanced notice of what's going on. Set them up with
a special page they can log into, make them feel special.

Giving them advanced notice of your new launch means they can
start seeding their lists, dropping hints on forums, leaking
    documents, etc.

Just a reminder, Targeted Traffic comes from Sellers and
Affiliates that have been in the business for a time and
already know that if they promote your product or service to
targeted buyers the end result is you all realize a healthy
    ROI.

Plus you establish your business as not a competitor, yet an
asset to everyone vested, both sellers and customers.

Do it right and your website will put money in your pocket!

    Enjoy Your Success!

    • There is not a truer statement that could be made.

As I see it... Determining the best method of traffic takes a bit of understanding in terms of the amount to be made per transaction and the expense that can be made to get the traffic. ROI can be looked at in short term or long term. In MOST cases with someone starting out, you simply want the short term gains vs the long term ones.

Short term gains would be traffic sources that are free - or as close to free as possible. The less you spend on getting the traffic the more you will profit with each sale. SEO would be an example of this strategy.

Given enough profit on each sale one can also use Paid advertising. The most common statement here ( The Warrior Forum ) in regards to paid traffic, is in general it doesn't work. The truth is it DOES work, once you understand how IT works. and 9 times out of 10 it is the Targeting aspect, that is not understood.

I would suggest this strategy is way off base. If you look here ( https://www.warriorforum.com/warrior...days-ebay.html ) This is a thread I started about Selling on eBay. If you could imagine me having a link in my signature that lead to a page that sold a eBay related product. People reading the thread are targeted, and I have shown an amount of AUTHORITY. I would say THIS is the proper way to use a forum in terms of getting targeted traffic. No where in the process do I contact the WF to do this.

Blogs, and Social the strategy changes ever so slightly... You would comment on articles with solid comments.. Comments that suggest you know your stuff. People WILL click to find out more about you. You DO NOT have to have a link in the comment. 90% of the time the user name that appears is a link that goes to a profile or a site directly. YOU just have to ensure there is related content to be found on the other side.

I totally get what you are saying here... and YES what you are saying is true. However, lets throw some context into this... how many Real Estate Agents and roofers and plumbers are reading this RIGHT NOW? Is your Target Audience ( people reading this thread ) any of those things? and the answer is maybe a handful.

The readers of THIS content are selling Forex, and weight loss, and half cocked ideas of how to make money online. So this form of JV is simply not applicable. Throw in the idea that we have already stated one side of these JVs has no traffic by default ( because they are looking for JV's ) and then we state they cant write good copy... Simple Law of Attraction would suggest the other JV's that would join with this person are going to be in roughly the same boat.

Im in NO WAY saying these principles don't work... THEY DO... but it takes having an amount of authority in place to A) land JV's and B) have the ability in kind to be of use to the other JV partners.

I would suggest that there is another step that is missed completely in most online business models and that step, is the step of developing and demonstrating authority. My example from above... Is there any question that I know how to sell things on eBay? would it be safe to assume that if I were to create and sell a product as such that based on the level of information in that thread the product would only be better?

The greatest issue is people trying to make money online and looking at sales numbers and demand and this and that and the other... and then they select a product to sell that they know absolutely nothing about. I will say it bluntly - THATS WRONG.

Skinny people should not be selling weight loss products ( unless they lost weight ) People that have never traded Forex let alone don't own any stocks should not be selling forex products. and people that are struggling to pay the bills let alone make money online should not be selling how to make money online products.

EXPERIENCE is the universal variable that creates success. Want to sell things as an Amazon affiliate? Im cool with that.. BUT you should start with products you literally already have in your house IE stuff you have experience with.

Want to sell Forex.. again i don't have an issue with it.. but do yourself, and your future targets a favor and invest $100 and see how it works and get some EXPERIENCE - Writing about the JOURNEY in itself is the start to creating AUTHORITY.

The moment you step outside of the scope of personal experience ( with anything ) and have to fake it til you make it, and build a site and write content and create ads and basically blow smoke up peoples tail ends... that's just not what a path to success looks like.

Just go out there... start a blog about your process of educating yourself on whatever it is - links to products and books you have read... share your ups and downs... build a base of experience... and over an amount of time you will have the experience, and the developed authority and probably will have developed the targeted traffic needed that you will have the ability to sell whatever it is you want. THIS is what a path to success looks like.

  • No, I don't agree because I am referring to a a joint business
partnership with the owners of those domains - not the
    domain's followers.

What you describe is not a JV to cross-promote.

    What you describe is..

Completely lacking in subtlety and a very obvious agenda to
steal another businesses customers and in the end your business
would develop a reputation across the IM industry of Consumer
Fraud And Deceptive Business Practices wherein it would be
almost impossible, if not definitely impossible, to acquire future
    JV Partnerships.

Not saying YOU would do that.

I am saying that there is a right way and a wrong way to do
business with IMers. The IM world is a tight little world. JV
Partners look out for each other.

There are many, and I mean many, WF members that used to
promote what you described and look where they are "not" now.

They are "not" doing business on this forum.
  • Well, then you create a thread that explains how you do that.

You asked me if I agree to target people on someone else's
website with a FB Campaign and bring them into your business
page as followers etc and then start promoting to them easily
enough per se, without the need to contact or involve others?

Again, create a thread that explains how you do that.

I never described or suggested "how you steal from a blog with
no products." and I do not understand why "You are trying to
    put words in my mouth?"

Also, there are many websites that have a product and do not
engage in marketing the product either for lack of funds or
they have the funds and do not know how to market the product.

That is where a JV Partnership benefits everyone. However,
because you decided to put words in my mouth... I'll not give
    you link to that resource.

No one knows what you are thinking. One would only know
    what you wrote.

Well, then you create a thread that explains "other ways over
and above a JV to get more customers these days." and how
you do that. Not some copy-n-paste article from another
    website.

Since you have never done both all I can say is how I do it and
your end result may differ from my own. For a beginner I do not
endorse spending money on FB Ads.

A beginner "without" JV Partners endorsing the products or
services on the FB page will definitely lose out to other FB
pages wherein JV Partners do in fact cross-link and endorse
    the products or services.

Your reference is not substantiated at all. You have not
provided any reference to any substantiated guide of your own!

I never said your comments were sinister and I never implied
    your comments were sinister.

Maybe finding JV Partners is difficult for you. Maybe you have
difficulty to create an audience. Maybe running targeted FB Ads
is the only way for you. Maybe... whatever!

  • Quality free WordPress (WP) themes are not easy to find. Over the years I have made my own list of requirements that I look for in a free theme:

A quality free WP theme minimal requirements not in any particular order:

+ Compatiable with a modern WP Page Builder for both beginners and experienced programmers to construct their own site.
    + Responsive.
+ Supports all modern WordPress plugins.
+ Compatiable with WooCommercce if you run an eCommerce store.
+ 100% compatible with the WP Gutenberg editor.
    + Multiple predefined header styles.
    + SEO-ready.
    + Cross-browser compatible.
    + Google Analytics integration.
    + Back to top button.
    + Contact form.
    + Social media icons.
+ Supports the ability to import demo content.
+ Video on how to install, activate and import demo content.
+ Compatible with Android, iOS and Windows phones, tablets, laptops, and desktop computers.
    + Supports high-resolution Retina displays.
+ Niche appeal, yet remains open to all fields of activity.
    + Informative documentation
    + Highly-trained support staff.

The only free theme that I have found that meets almost all of those requirements is:
    Shapely (not affiliated)

  • Nice post.. If anyone is struggling with trying to find a niche for your affiliate site. Here is a little hack to uncover some gems that promote Amazon products.

    1. Go to google and search for "Amazon Affiliate Disclosure"
    2. Click on the results in turn and you will find sites in all kinds of niches.
    3. If you have access to AHRefs or similar tool, take a look at a selection of these sites.
    4. Note down what keywords they are ranking for and the sort of content they use for you to emulate (NOT COPY).

    • Do you mean..

If anyone is struggling with trying to find a niche for your affiliate site?

I assume you mean ahrefs.com. Remember this thread is for beginners, so you have to spell things out for some.

In case someone does not have ahrefs.com is there something similar or of the same caliber that you can recommend? Preferably free.

      Thanks for your input Stephen.

  • Hey, I am new to the whole idea of affiliate marketing but I think it would be a useful tool for my online store. I am looking to increase traffic to my website and am looking for new ways to do so. This post was helpful for giving me an idea of how affiliate marketing works, but as I own a business looking to use affiliate marketing rather than looking to start an affiliate marketing business myself, there are still some unanswered questions I have. Any feedback, comments, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings, Here is my little guide to creating an Affiliate Marketing business for beginners. In many ways it is meant to be followed step-by-step based on how I have been creating the infrastructure for affiliate websites, general blogs and more.
