This has been something that has been on my mind since Google banned me from using Youtube on one of my accounts.

How much does your business rely upon the good mood of Google for its operations?

Mine way too much

With many Gmail accounts used to serve Twitter profiles and my entire social media presense located on one account...they did have quite literally my business by the balls.

Whilst I have been a member of the Warrior Forum since Sept 2010 and bought loads of WSO's, until recently I haven't really been interacting with the Warrior Forum by posting content. Big oversight on my part because I realise I should be giving back to the community.

I am trying to put that right now by replying or commenting on 5 posts a day. I am really enjoying contributing with my knowledge and it is great to know that the Warrior Forum has such a superb support mechanism through...

Launching a site in Germany

We was set the challenge of ranking a new site over in Germany, not a problem but I cant speak any German. The site would be a clone of the companies UK site, this owns on all its major keywords in google.co.uk.

After getting over the initial restriction placed on all .de domains ( if you dont live in Germany you cant have one) we eventually located a host who could speak English and would be happy to help set up the DNS for the domain. It seems Germany as some very complicated requirements...

Retrospective and Perspective

It's amazing how internet marketing has changed over the years. Tasks that took weeks to do can now be done within minutes with software. Costs of production have also been drastically reduced. I remember my first website and audio cost me over $6000. That's Frightening! Today the same website, with additional audio and video can be created for under $1500.

There are also vast markets emerging - ones like marketing to local businesses, mobile marketing, social media marketing,...
