Survival in the Warrior Forums
The Warrior Forums isn't a 100% friendly place.
Funny cause when I got in, I remember that I had a "Welcome to the Warrior Forums. Feel free to ask any questions and we'll help you out".
When people are asking questions, they're "qualified" by the Warriors. By the way you ask, you're deemed either as a real newbie learning about internet marketing, a person who knows what he's talking about or a person that just deserves to be kicked out of the forums.
There are people here who have been around for a while and are not very tolerant of people who are trying to "forum market" as well - meaning, trying to build up a reputation for themselves in a short period of time.
There are also unspoken rules that aren't stated clearly in the Warrior Forum Rules sticky thread.
These would include (but not limited to):
Overall, surviving in the Warrior Forums is easy as long as you keep your brains and wits about you.
It's a great place to be as long as you follow the rules and abide by them - kind of like living with an abusive rich wife.

These would include (but not limited to):
- No Spamming (it's a general rule for forums)
- If you don't know what you're talking about, shut the hell up. Don't even bother with answering "Hahaha" or "I agree with you"
- The forum expects good, detailed replies. If you can't provide that, don't reply - you might get yourself into a "This Guy Is Stupid So I'll Watch Him" area.
- Bumping a thread is only allowed AFTER it has gone to the second page of the forum - which is kind of not-very-helpful in my opinion because people do come to the Warrior Forum for help. What if the help was needed urgently? I know this only applies to the WSO thread but I did it once before on the main discussion forums and I got reported for it... Hrmph.
- You're also not allowed to rant and rave about anything (internet marketing related or otherwise) unless you've proven yourself as a successful internet marketer - do that and you'll also be listed in the "This Guy Is Stupid So I'll Watch Him" blacklist.
Overall, surviving in the Warrior Forums is easy as long as you keep your brains and wits about you.

Asher,
Great Observation and Great "Just My 2 Cents" Post!
It is always good to know the culture of an environment such as the community you live in, your work place, places of worships, clubs and organizations and now online community forums and social networks.Posted 2nd December 2008 at 02:31 PM by Minsheyenwen
