Why failing is an option...
Posted 3rd May 2013 at 06:35 PM by Jeremy Barker
I see and come in contact with people everyday that fail in their business or in the job in their business. There are certain words that I always here in connection with failure:
"It was going to happen anyway"
or
"It was just a matter of time"
or even
"That was the wrong business for me anyway"
Have you ever heard that? Or even worse, have you ever said that?
Guess what.... The person that says that is destined to fail.
This is a short post but I don't think that it really needs to be long. The reason failing is an option for you or someone else is because you or they let it be an option. Look back 3 months into your business or job even and trace your steps backwards and follow your actions. Really sit down and think about it for a few minutes. What have you done in the past 3 months to advance your business? If there is not much there to think about, chances are you are failing because you have let it be an option.
Take action everyday in your business... EVERYDAY... Even if you have to stay up a little later and even if you don't feel like it. Truth is, the most successful entrepreneurs. Failure is simply not an option for them. Working as an entrepreneur or any successful position required and still requires one thing.... That one thing is "work." To build a business there is work involved. I know a lot of people that would just love to sit on their beach house deck and rake in the $$$ but sorry... If you don't have the attitude to advance your business and the drive to be successful, you won't be. Work hard and earn every dime that you make. Create connections with others and make it count. It is about a whole lot more than $$$. If money is all your interested in, you lose!
