Website Service Contract Terms

If you provide a service for a website, such as creating the site, performing SEO, writing content, or another task, you may be asked to sign a contract.

Often these contracts are general with nothing to be concerned about. But sometimes there is, such as a noncompete term.

I get on quite a few mailing lists and by using one-use only email addresses can track when an email is being sold.

Fortunately, that doesn't happen very often.

Usually, if there is a problem with a list it is because it just spewing daily promotions for offers that sender has never tried, never used, and never bought. It is embarrassing.

Do You Test Your Pricing

I see product after product after product, whether by Internet marketers or others, that always has the same price.

What - you woke up and inherently knew the most profitable price point?

You do not even need to hassle with split testing to evaluate the overall revenue from different price points. On one of my legal sites I tried over a half dozen price points before knowing which was best. On a php autoresponder I have been running different price points.

Affiliates Don't Have to Call Themselves Affiliates

As an affiliate it is a good practice, and maybe a required, to have an affiliate disclosure identifying yourself as an affiliate.

The problem?

Google hates affiliates.

So why raise a red flag and tell Google you are one of those dreaded affiliates who cannot possibly offer any value to the web? You don't.

Automating Your Website Creation

WordPress is all the rage. But have you tried to create a massive site fast using WordPress? It just isn't going to happen.

If you want to create a big site fast, and I mean hundreds or even thousands of pages, to create scale you need to learn html and php. Especially php.

For example, this site was created today: http://touchuppaintpen.net. It took several days of careful planning, but once the template was in place and approved it took longer to upload the 7000 web...
