Stick around the wierd and whacky world of web marketing long enough, and you'll encounter more than your fair share of woo.

You'll find it in products that make extraordinary claims, backed up with plenty of testimonials but zero hard evidence. The seller may even claim the government (or perhaps an evil corporation) has tried to suppress it.

You'll also find woo in the language used. Some 'chancer' will claim to know the secret of making $5,000 a week by working only an hour a day. Thing is, I know that secret already - find 50 people per week prepared to pay me $100 for something. Knowing how is the easy part. The difficult bit is doing it.

The plain fact is, Internet marketing relies on a couple of things I know a lot about. Things I've done professionally for 16 years. And I know those things aren't easy. I know you can't read a free ebook, and turn into an Internet guru over night. What's more, I bet you can't even read a $29 ebook and turn into an Internet guru overnight!

Selling online, from sales copy, is a difficult trade to learn. It requires a whole lot more than knowledge. It requires experience, and you only get that by trying it for yourself,
measuring everything, and learning from your mistakes.

The plain unvarnished truth is, there are no magic words guaranteed to sell every single time. Yes, some words and phrases work better in advertising. But the art of writing powerful ad copy requires a deep understanding not just of what words to use, but how to use them powerfully, when to avoid them, and why you're using word A versus word B at any given point in the copy.

If you still don't believe me, then may I interest you in these magic beans that tripled my sales over night!!!
