3 Steps SEO For Dummies

If you are involved in the internet, whether as a website creator or internet marketer, you must have a basic idea of SEO (Search engine optimization).
It is important so that people will be able to find your website or any other documents you post on the internet. Otherwise all your efforts on creating your site or your article will be useless since nobody will be able to find it anyway.
So what are the basic steps to do SEO- keyword research?
Here I've listed 3 easy steps to get you started. Enjoy!
1. Decide on the title you want for your site or article.
2. Use google's keyword tool. Here is the link
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Simply enter the title in the box and click on the Get keyword ideas button. You will see the statistics for your choosen title. Example, how many searches where made for your title in a month.
Now if there's a lot of searches that could mean that your title is actually interesting.
3. Go to Google and put in your entire title in the search box. Then search for it.
Check out how many pages were returned. If it's over millions, people will have a hard time going to your site because most probably you'll end up at the bottom of that list.
If it's too much, simply revise your title and start at step no. 2 again until you find a good title without much competition.
I recommend looking for results not over a million usually it takes lesser work to be listed in these results and dominate it.
As you noticed I haven't mentioned anything about creating the article or site. SEO-keyword research should be the first step in the process. This is the most important part of your web initiative. Do it well and you'll get visitors to whatever you write or do in the web.
