When we first began our setting up Wordpress journey, there were many times when our founder says he was held hostage by web developers. They spoke an unknown language called HTML. So often, I see websites that have decent SEO breadcrumb trails which extend from a well-chosen URL to a great header and awesome H tags throughout the home page.

However, when arriving at the footer, it seems as if all attempts at optimization abruptly end! Over the years, I have constantly warned both my onsite blog readers as well as clients that this area, while not as important as others, does matter in the overall mix of indexing placement.
