I'm still in the process of creating my landing page. That is, I've been creating copy for it and looking at other landing pages to see what else can or should be done.
Not that this has been my first time looking at other examples. I have, but never took any notes on things that might work for me. This time, I'm going to start viewing other landing pages and take notes. I want my efforts to mean something in the end.
I know, sounds like I'm trying to be perfect. Actually, I feel a little insecure because this is my first experience ever with things like this. This is also the most progress I've made in trying to earn money online.
So far, I've managed to sell a 25-page hard copy report offline. After completing that report, I looked at various magazines, chose one, and wrote a tiny classified ad. I probably sold 20 copies of that report in a year's time. Selling offline like that was my very first time. I learned something about writing sales letters and responding to customers; questions.
Even more important, I learned the value of just going ahead and doing something instead of promising myself I would. Ultimately, it comes down to picking something and starting at some point and seeing how it all goes. You just have to go ahead and DO IT!
