PLR... Is It Really A Bad Thing?

PLR isn't a bad thing. Many busy marketers use PLR products to fill the gaps in their marketing funnel. You can get a product out faster or even piggy back a guru's product launch with a similar product. As for affiliates, you can use plr products in order to pre-sell customers on your affiliate program.
So what's the problem with PLR?
The problem with most plr packs isn't the product itself. It is because of the people that buy them, they don't have a plan in order to use them.
For instance, I can take a crap plr article and make it 100% better in less than 15minutes, after checking a few sources to make sure the research that went into the article is a good source. Ok, let's give it a realistic 20 minutes tops.
It's actually easier to edit crap than white space.
Buying PLR? Here's how
1. Before purchasing plr products you should ask yourself how can I use this product to benefit my business, in the next week?
2. Check the PLR license: By reading your PLR license you will know what you can do with the content and how much you should edit it or for best results change it in order to make it a unique product.
Then if you think you can use it in your sales funnel or niche and make it a unique product in a week or less then purchase it and get busy making money.
Choosing a PLR Provider
With a little research you should be able to find a good PLR provider. Just type your niche name into a search engine and include "PLR" with your niche name. For instance "Home Improvement PLR"
Once you find several providers check 'em out by researching each provider. Check and see if they have any complaints against them. Also never buy plr products or packs with out reading one of the sample articles from the product.
