The obscure, tedious, and often misunderstood writings by a little known man and his attempt to start an Internet Marketing business with his brother.

The news may be good or bad for us (but) we will always tell you the truth.

First things first

My brother and I have been discussing starting a business doing Internet Marketing, our goal is to eventually be able to earn a living from this.
What I am trying to do now is figure out what I should do first. Let me say I tried to do this alone a few years ago and failed miserably--mostly because I didn't stay focused on the business. This is not to say I am predicting great success but I know this won't work if I don't put the time and energy into it.
So what to do first? I guess I should explain what I bring to the table--I'm 50 and have about 20 years of technical support experience as well as being highly educated with a three degrees. My brother has much less education than I do but he has more business sense as he has run a few businesses in his day.
From my reading the first thing I want to do is come up with three to five affiliate products we can do some niche marketing with on our own websites. The primary issue I am struggling with now is more of business planning issue--I am trying to decide how much money we need to budget it for our first six to twelve months.
I have asked on the Warrior Forum on the Main Internet Marketing site. Personally I am thinking $100-$200 per month to cover the web hosting, buying domain names and purchasing any tools we need like Market Samurai as well as an products we might want to buy to check out before we try and sell them.
I will report back the results from the warrior forum tomorrow as well as where I think I stand with my prospective budget.
