Hi guys,

After a cold call and they ask you to send an e-mail with something about your organisation (which is a lot of the time just a push off).

What are some must do's and never do's of writing this introduction e-mail?

What do we put in there?
What don't we ever say?

Thanks!

Tell them EXACTLY what you do and what you do good !

But NO sales presentation in the first email.

Identify some of the problems in the industry you are involved in and make sure you convey to them what you have done to be able to get others' past these problems.

If you have done your homework these people you are sending the Email to have some of the same problems so they will be able to relate to this. And it is a good way to indirectly ' sale ' to them your Services without being blatant and 'salesy' ; if that makes sense !

Be sure to give some personal history of you and your Company so they will begin to feel personable with you.
