My First Email Campaign

Good morning everyone!

On Tuesday i launched my first email campignn which was just a news letter with useful information no sales link other than link at the bottom of the page to my webstore. Also an announcment at the end letting everyone know to be on the look out for 4th of july coupon code i will be sending out. That same day i had about 4 emails thanking me for the tip i sent out.

Today i logged on to see my campaign results. This is what i saw picture attached. As a complete noob here are these numbers ok? I did not expect a large click through rate since the email was not a pitch at all but i figured some would click the shop now button to see what we offered. The entire list is compromised of old and new clients as well as people who are interested in the products we offer.

I also used a hotmail.com address and not my company web hosted email address. Still even with the hotmail address the name was my company name.

Tools used: go daddy express email marketing since my webstore is on godaddy.

      You just need to test multiple campaigns, because just one campaign is way too little to draw conclusions. You don't have to worry about the results for now, just try things a little different to see if you get better results.

      thanks i have another one to send next week which will have more info and a different design.

      i have a coupon code mailer going out tomorrow for 4th of july weekend. The first email which is the one on topic was a tip specific to current customers who buy my physical products.

    Maybe you just need to increase your call to action in your email.

    Or maybe people didn't htink your content in the mail was interesting.

    You just need to test multiple campaigns, because just one campaign is way too little to draw conclusions. You don't have to worry about the results for now, just try things a little different to see if you get better results.
