WhatsApp rolls out animated stickers and more
WhatsApp just rolled out new features including animated stickers, new dark mode options, QR codes, and new video call options.
And because Facebook is merging the backends of Messenger and WhatsApp, the animated stickers look exactly the same as those in Facebook Messenger. This means all platforms will have the same set of features and functions.
Furthermore, WhatsApp is also adding QR codes so you can just scan someone's code and add them as your contact.
Both web and desktop apps will also get the dark mode treatment after rolling it out to the main mobile app back in March.
