Article Submitter - Duplicate Content?

Ive always be told that you should not have duplicate content, which includes 2 of the same article out there. So Im confused why article submitter is any good since you are submitting the same article to hundreds of article directories?

It would be good if there was an article submiiter which let you submit spin articles.

I just cant understand how article submitter can work, unless the whole duplicate content thing doesnt matter?

Most every article you or anybody else publishes on any article
site will never get ranked in search engines unless you do one
    thing: backlink to it.

It doesn't matter if the content is published elsewhere too. The
duplicate content thing is a myth. If you want traffic to your
articles however, you need to title them with keyphrases people
use, have some keywords in them, and backlink to them.

The article spinner thing is so you can submit the same article
to the same directory several times by spinning the content.
While you'll get a little bitty trickle of traffic from just publishing
to a lot of sites - the real traffic for articles comes from

    a) getting them published on high-traffic sites
    b) getting them ranked for high traffic keyphrases

A is accomplished by writing high quality articles and perhaps
shopping them around to get them published on sites that
don't normally pull content from article directories.

B happens from effective keyword choice and backlinking.

Who told you not to have the same 2 articles out there?
Yes the whole duplicate content thing doesn't matter. You can have the same article out there 1500 times without a negative consequence, however it would be a good idea to manually spin the article a few times after a few submissions to cover a wider range of keywords and phrases.
You got me totally confused here, because as far as I know you need to have your article at least 30% unique and run it successfully through Copyscape in order to just have a chance to get indexed by Google. So in my opinion the duplicate content thing DOES matter hugely... I am using SEnuke and getting only 15% of my submissions indexed even with up to 50% spun articles. Google actually hates duplicate content.

You are confusing the syndication of original articles with advice on how to use PLR - two different things. It's true you should rewrite if you are using purchased PLR articles - but not for an original article you have written.

There is no problem with duplication when you are submitting a unique, new article. That's is the fact - if you choose to believe otherwise you will spend a lot of time doing rewrites that are not necessary.

Do you really honestly believe that? If you're right, then there are thousands of highly skilled internet marketers and super affiliates who are just wasting their time as we speak working on spinning their articles to above 50% uniqueness. And yes, that includes articles written by yourself, not just PLR.

Write 1 article yourself, submit it using SEnuke or another software (spacing your submissions if you want) to 50 different blogs and/or article directories, and check how many of them are indexed in Google 2 weeks later. Less than 15% is my guess and I'd put money on it.

Isn't an article always unique and new before it gets duplicated for the first time? I don't understand what you mean. Cause if you look at it that way then PLR articles are also unique and new articles that have been duplicated aren't they?

I learnt from Mark Ling about duplicate content, his course is one of the best Ive done. Ive also heard from Howie that duplicate content is a no - and other marketers. Im really confussed! I spend and pay alot of money to get articles spinned so that they are fully readable and I then autosubmit them and manual submit them to the top 5-10 directories. But now since I found article submitter and hearing some of your views I am confused?!@

Should I continue doing what I am doing AND use article submitter, suppose it cant hurt but is it going to be wasted effort?

if there is one thing about learning from "guru's" is that they all have their own way of doing things, and probably all have different reasons why it works or doesnt work.

You spin articles to resubmit them to the same directories. With
different titles and spun content you can get more mileage and
penetrate the topic within the directory more - getting a higher
percentage of articles within the niche topic within the directory.

You may also, with GoArticles for example, find that your articles
rank for keyphrases in the titles. I don't know enough about
GoArticles to say whether the script will reject articles with
the same body but different titles - but in it's simplest and most
exploitive form spinning would be only a matter of changing
the article title and keywords. Of course most article scripts
will reject such rudimentary spinning, so rearranging thing
    gets around such roadblocks.

BUT - if you want to get BIG seo traffic you must write
a manageable number of effective articles that get clickthroughs
on your sig link - then be industrious about backlinking to
your articles. Backlinking is the only reliable way to get your
article ranking high in SE's for competitive keyphrases.

So is there any benefit to article spinning?

Is article submitter worth it, Will submitting the same article to 270 sites with the same backlinks still count?

i usually spin my articles, and also spin the backlink text and submit to different sites but it seems maybe Ive been doing it all wrong?

Ok so its ok to have duplicate content, the google guy on youtube explains this well.

So submitting your article to 300 directories will give you 300 backlinks, which will have the same value has submitting 300 spun articles to 300 blogs?

Spinning software sells better when people don't have all the facts. Many high quality blogs request original content only with NO copies found anywhere else on the internet. If you spin one of those, spin it real good.

There's only 1 thing anyone who allows himself to be called "GURU" is good for:
        1) sending out NO-REPLY promotional emails with lots of repetition
        2) Re-Launching each other's "NEW" next big thing
        3) Teaching with 1 goal in the end - part you from your money, slowly but surely, a few dollars at a time...drip, drip, drip, drip,

Howie and Mark Ling are NOT one of them. They DO and they WILL teach you how to make money but you have to PAY THEM. They are PROFESSIONAL Internet or Network Marketers and they don't work cheap because you're supposed to listen, learn and earn. Then give them a real, live testimonial and the next guy goes in.

They don't want you coming back or they'll feel like failures!! You will be refunded and sent packing for just that reason. They are winners and that's just the way it is. Listen to an Amazing Will Smith here: Will's Wisdom - Will Smith lives life large.

Bottom Line: Doing the Best you can always works the Best.
People can tell the difference even if they don't always tell you in words.

Do you really honestly believe that?
Yup - after 10 years of writing and submitting articles - that's exactly what I know to be true. It's not a matter of "belief" - but of experience.

As pointed out above, there are reasons at times to spin an article but not if you are just talking about submitting original articles and putting the same article on your site or blog or in several directories.

If you are adding your article to someone's else's blog or site (as a guest writer, for example) of course you use original content. That makes sense and no one should have to tell you that.

If you are just adding a page of content, you can use an article from a directory (with proper credit and links, of course) on your site and that is syndication. Other sites can use your articles from directories in the same way.

The idea gets convoluted to "you have to spin all your articles" and that's just plain wrong. It's spread by those selling spinners and by those new to marketing who are too quick to believe any "caution" they read.

well its not really quality issue, after I spin the articles you cant tell that they are any different. However, the problem is do i concentrate on spinning articles or on creating original articles and submitting them to 4-5 directories and also using article submitting to submit them to a few hundred more directories.

If you stop trying to spam Google, your life will become much more simple and enjoyable.

Yes, using article spinners are an attempt to spam Google. The search giant HATES them and will make them inaccessable in most instances. There is NO PENALTY in terms of devaluing your website or banning you, but it's a useless activity.

Please show me a search result where a spun article is on Google's main page for a keyword. Please try that and see for yourself. Certainly a very few will sneak through for non competitive keywords but the exceptions prove the rule.

So, what are article spinners good for? Absolutely nothing. Not even backlinks. Do you really think that Google cannot pick up on our puny attempts to spam it?

I know a lot of people will not listen to this advice. Some will. The main idea is to prove it to yourself by looking at search results.

I've only once used an article spinner, never again, the articles were full of grammatical errors, and a lot of gibberish that made little sense. So since then I do it the hard way 100% original. "My article submitter " is supposed to be good, for submission , but I've not tried as yet.

I think some of you are getting the wrong idea. Im not talking about auto-spin articles im talking about a 500 word article which takes 3 hours to write and looks like any other article. I use these articles to create 2.0 pages as well as submit them through amautomation, ezarticles and goarticles.

As for spinning is useless, this is NOT true. I know spinning works because I have one site where all I have done is used spin articles plus posted a few of the spun versions on ezarticles/goarticles. For this I have 5 keywords on SERP within the top 3-6 results, and all have been there for over 12 months. To get this result I have submitted 10 spin articles on various blogs creating a total of over 1200 submissions. However, the backlinks from these only seem to count for 50 of the backlinks or so, which I dont fully understand why. The only thing I can think of is the articles get posted on blogs, google picks them up then throws them in the junk pile and doesnt count it as a backlink....

I have very little experience in writing original articles other than content for my websites, so this is why I am here asking what is it best to submit to 5-6 directories with the original article or 200...

From this post I have learnt the more you submit the article the better, even if it is duplicate because at the end of the day its a new backlink for my site and this is what counts.

And I know understand that there is no negative to having duplicate content!

As for mark ling he highly recommends Affiloblueprint users to use Amautomation, and from my results he is right, spinning has worked well getting my pages ranked on google. However I was always under the impression that any duplicate content is bad, which I know know is a very bad wifes tail.

      Articles and Newsletters

NOTE: The articles should be reworded to ensure they are not seen as duplicate content
by the search engines. These articles can only be used to promote our products.

      What you need to do.

You need to copy the articles, enter your Clickbank Hoplink in the articles and then distribute
them on your's or another website. Then when anyone clicks a link in any article on your website,
they will be taken to our sales page. If they buy right away or later on, you will be credited with
the sale and receive the commission.

Could this be where the confusion is from?

Aren't those standard instructions for affiliates so the same article
is not copied by different people who are more concerned with changing
the affiliate links and therefore more likely to use the same article "as-is"
claiming to be the original author?

Changing affiliate links does not an author make. That would
not be considered "duplicate content" either. What this looks like
is a classic example of a huge gap in communication levels. The
advanced members are not thinking back far enough and the newbies
don't understand what they don't know yet.

Any chance you guys can climb down off that One Big Hill and re-live
your Newbie days for a minute? Can you remember SOME of what you
didn't know back in the day!! You can do it!

Let me give you a straight answer:
I'm still getting article views and site visitors from articles:
    1) That were NOT spun/changed in any way
    2) That were spun

That's the bottom line. I don't want to go into a debate on what to do because it depends on a lot of factors, and personal preferences. Also, many people have their theories, I just told what's 100% true and proven. Whatever you decide, spend more time doing it (a lot), than thinking how to do it.

In other words, duplicate content does not matter in the way you assume it does.

Duplicate content is a myth.. Take a look at syndication sites that distribute press releases and news stories across the internet. Most of these sites are huge news sites that basically host the same news story.. It's fine don't sweat it.

Having said that I don't recommend you submit your article to 1000's of low quality article sites. Google realizes that this was an easy way to get tons of links to your site and it no longer works to get you good rankings.

Concentrate on submitting HIGH quality articles to only the top 10 directories.

    1. EzineArticles
    2. IdeaMarketers
    3. GoArticles
    4. WebProNews
    5. ArticleDashboard
    6. ArticleCity
    7. Article Alley
    8. Amazines
    9. Articles Factory
    10. Buzzle

You will get much better results this way.

Duplicate content is only a problem when it occurs on your own site. Having the same or nearly the same content on more than one page on your site will cause ranking issues with Google.

...oh and don't spin content, this goes back to the black hat days of creating mass duplicated sites and these were invented as a way to get around doing scraping and still getting tons of pages indexed in Google. Its kind of hung on to life from there. I don't recommend it.

Think like Google and what they want.

Provide VALUE in the way of EXCELLENT content, and then submit to ONLY the highest quality sites...
