What guarantee should I offer for my "Done For You" package and how do I track my efforts?
So my question is what should X be?
What I was thinking...
Sticking with the figures in the above example, I was thinking of saying that by month three, the company should be bringing in at least $2000 in EXTRA business per month because of the online efforts I am performing for the company, and if that is not the case by then, that I will continue to do it at no charge until that does happen.
The dilemma...
However, the dilemma is how does one track that? I can just have them ask everyone how they heard about the business when they call or email, but being human, people forget to do that sometimes. How would you suggest tracking this so that it is as accurate as possible, and I can prove that my efforts are more than worth what they are paying?
One option:
When the prospect phones...
Have them sign up for Google voice and track the calls through that service, however I have used this service in the past, and sometimes it rings a few times for the caller, and then they get nothing, not even voicemail. This is not good for business.
When the prospect emails...
Have their email go to a specific email address that forwards a copy to me.
However, neither of the above options can track and see if that inquiry resulted in a sale. Do I just have to trust the client on this one?
