Sales Page & Content Confusion...

Hi Warriors,

Up until now, I have stuck by the old school method of having a sales page without distractions and links.

However, my keyword Guress (Adriana) has put together some interesting research for low hanging fruit.

I'm installing a site Map, but wondering...

For the articles/content pages, should I have a link at the bottom of the sales page name Articles... or an individual ink for each article/keyword in the hyperlink? The latter would mean around 10+ links.

Can anyone please shed some light on this for me?

Or do I simply add content pages and just link THEM back to my sales page?

Thanks in advance!

Sal

    Hey Sal,

If you put a do not follow tag it doesn't matter how your anchor text is laid out. If you want the SE to follow I would use the keywords as the anchor text. SE only reads your links like your reciprocal linking.

Sales pages solo motive is to generate leads and leads into conversions. So I think either you place a keyword based anchor text or just a direct link, you will get leads/conversions once a visitor lands on your page finds your product useful to him.

However, I would suggest you optimize your content with the key-phrases that explains your product pages.

yes, I am aware that the sales page is to convert. My question was regarding seo content, and how best to set it up.

      Thx

My vote is for just an "articles" link and let Google do the work.

      From experience?

Wasn't sure. There's a site in my niche which ranks top 3 and has anchor text links at the bottom of the page. But I tend agree with you.

      Cheers!
