Seeking Effective Paid Strategies to Boost LED Signs Sales. Suggestions?

Hello Warrior Forum members,

I'm in the LED Signs business and have noticed a stagnation in sales over the past few months. I believe it's time to amp up our marketing, specifically through paid strategies. However, before making any investments, I wanted to tap into the collective knowledge of this community.
  • Are there any specific paid channels or platforms that have worked well for products like LED Signs?
  • What kind of ad creatives and targeting strategies would you recommend for a niche product like ours?
  • Are there particular influencers or industry-specific platforms where it would be beneficial for us to advertise?
  • Any specific case studies or personal experiences you can share regarding LED Signs or similar products?
  • Finally, what's a realistic budget allocation to start testing these paid strategies?
I appreciate any insights or experiences you can share. Thank you in advance for helping a fellow Warrior out!

Your business is stagnating because the economy
    is in a slump.

Have you tried radio or television advertising in your
    local market?

You could also promote the business on social media
and by contacting businesses that need your signs.

Promote your LED signs business just like any other
business and try to come up with something new.

Yes you are quite right. We are currently getting most of our sales from social media. People are more interested in customized led signs.

      Best Regards.

IDK, if you're talking about those pink and blue "We're OPEN!" window signs, I've seen a salesperson go through town and within a day it seems that everyone has one. They're like a virus. The pitch is simple: your competition bought one, and people will go there instead because they see that store is open. You need one just to keep up.

Of course, in the weeks after that we see forgetful staff fail to shut the sign off at closing time, and the signs burn into the night. Making them pointless.

Instagram and Pinterest ads can work wonders, especially if you've got some eye-catching designs. For targeting, focus on businesses, event planners, or anyone in industries needing signage.

Have you tried collaborating with event organizers or real estate agents? They often need signs and could offer a fresh customer base.

It is a paid part of the forum. Just a FYI the person that formed that section no longer comes here. The last post was from a year ago.

Get the basics done right first.

Be in front of those who are already looking for LED Signage
by creating a Google Business Profile.

    Don't skimp on it.

    Next go direct to prospects.

Leverage your message to many by using postcards.

Get your mailing list from SL360.

Don't pay for the list, printing and postage yourself.

Get 2 other advertisers who want to reach the same targeted businesses.

Three ads on a 6x11 inch postcard, they pay the cost, yours's free.

They get to mail at half the price if they mailed to same list
    on their own.

You've turned paid ads into free ads.

    Best,
    Ewen.

        Just stay with those two.

! Google Profile Business. Don't stop updating it.

2 Shared postcards. Send them out every 2 weeks to same list.
Expand your location with new lists and new advertisers.
Put those lists on a 2-week mailing sequence.

        Be relentless.

A friend had a window and siding replacement business.

For years a pizzeria and liquor store funded all his advertising,
as much as 50,000 postcards per month.

        Best,
        Ewen.
