Hey all,

I uploaded and started running my first adwords campaign two days ago.

Questions:
Now ho do i analyze these numbers?
How/when should i up my bis or lower my bids?
Know when an ad is at fault?

Basically want to know how to interpret these numbers...

Can someone please point me in the right direction..?, tips, courses, books would all be appreciated.

Tanks,

The reason nobody is answering is because the questions are vague and open ended.

    > How/when should i up my bis or lower my bids?

The basic answer is, are you making a profit on that keyword? What your ROI and what do you want it to be? Also, is there a particular position you want to be in?

    > Know when an ad is at fault?

    Same as above.

PPC is about your click rate so you maximize the number of potential customers and your conversion rate, which depends mostly on your landing page. Do those two things well at a reasonable cost, you will make a profit.

      Hi Rishi,

There is an immense amount of information available about marketing in general and it nearly all applies to AdWords campaigns. PPC marketing is highly competitive and your competition grows more sophisticated every day.

You need to start with and master the basics because advanced strategies and tactics always include the skillful application of these basics. The best place to start learning, in my opinion, is the AdWords Learning Center. Start there and get a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts before moving on to more advanced applications.

Download my Adwords FAQ for more helpful information but I echo dburk's suggestion you go to the Adwords Learning Center first.
