A company told me they can write a guest post and publish it on Forbes for 2000 pound for my website, my questions:

1- as i need to increase my domain authority which is currently 5.0 dose it worth to pay the amount for the guest post on Forbes ?

2- is it better to pay for guest post on Forbes or spend this budget on lower domain authority sites ?

For $3,000 [USD] you could build a half way decent PBN & use the links on multiple sites instead of a single link on Forbes (Assuming the Forbes link isn't a scam or nofollow).

Stop worrying about homemade metrics (DA). A decent followed backlink profile is what ranks pages.

No you don't, you just think you do & I guarantee you don't have a reason other than you think a bullshit homemade metric number will rank your webpages.

You're obviously not serious about ranking anything.

I already told you the solution, the link profile, that's what ranks pages. Either you have good followed links or you don't.

Obviously good site structure will also help but without a decent backlink profile you'll never rank a page unless it's some obscure longtail keyword with no competition.

My advice on the OP Forbes link question is for you to tell the link seller to prove they can get you a followed backlink. Tell them to show you the next 3 future links that will be posted to Forbes. If they can't provide 3 future Forbes links, they're BSing. It doesn't matter who owns the 3 links, you're just proving the link seller can actually get you a Forbes link.

Again, If the links are nofollow then none of this matters because it would be a useless link for SEO. Direct traffic is a whole other thing.

what you mean by link profile ?

so in your opinion it worth to spend the amount for forebs if the link is dofollow ?

As I pointed out there's more to this than the link being "followed". If you feel that's a fair price for a weak link on a new page then jump at the opportunity. In my opinion €200 for that kind of link would be way too much.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.

                What's your excuse?

In my opinion it is not worth it to spend that much on just one post. Besides, your rankings dont rise overnight. Even if they do, they will drop just as fast in no time. What you want to do is build your site rankings overtime. By spreading the money you have to invest in one, you can have multiple backlinks and several sites that have high rankings as well. You just need to find the right seo company that won't be a total rip off.

If you're only looking for the SEO benefit that's way too much for a single link. Keep in mind that the article will be on a new weak page, and that page is only linked from an archive page after a short while.

Here's a recent thread from someone who was thinking about offering Forbes articles.

From my personal experience of helping small businesses and startups for years, spending more than $100 for a link is not worth, you need to calculate the ROI. Let's say you're spending $2000 for a guest post written on Forbes, how sure are you on earning back the $2000? Do not invest in something that does not provide you assurance on making good returns. If you spend $2000 and getting back $2010 in return is far way better than waiting for months looking to get the return.

You can acquire thousands or even more customers for your business by spending that same amount on Facebook!

That's way too much and I don't think it's worth it. There are other cheaper and better ways to gain what you want on a small budget not the 2000 pounds.

The forbes backlinks is no-followed and worth jack.

For 2k pounds, you can do so much. Get a hold of Mike Friedman's course and you will understand what you need to do.

No I wouldn't buy the link, like I said, multiple links (link profile) is better than a single link. Keep in mind that Forbes link would be a new backlink webpage with zero inbound links other than maybe a few Forbes internal links.

There's obviously a communication problem happening here.
