inner links in canonized content
- SEO |
I have a a website for US visitors and another one for UK visitors.
I use different domains because of regulatory laws.
Let's say -
- UK - www.example.com
- US - us.example.com
These are 2 different sites, with relevant promotions per country, BUT the blog has the same content. So I used rel=canonical pointing to the UK site (reason - domain age of UK site is much greater).
My questions:
1. could I change the blog's inner-links in the US version of the site to point at more relevant pages in the US site?
2. If i'll do that, will Google still pass link-juice through those links (even though the canonical version is the UK one) ?
Thanks thanks,
Ofer.
