Hi,

Can anyone tell me if my quality score will suffer if I duplicate content, but changing only the geo keywords on the page to match the area I'm targeting?

Thanks,

Jake

Which network are you using? Google? Yahoo? MSN? Etc?

I don't think duplicate content penalty applies here.

I'd say be careful with this approach. If you're publishing the same basic content on the one site then how could that not be seen as dupe content?
Big G is not stupid and I think they'd get hip to your SEO keyword stuffing the same content on a single site.

Why not at least spin that content a bit just to make it a bit more distinctive?
The harsh reality in discovering whether your proposed technique worked or not could be either a sandboxing from Big G or a de-ranking in value of your site content,.. and if that happens you're back to square one and either have to work twice as hard to rebuild the site or nuke it and start over!
    That's my view
    Cheers,.. Russ

Over the last couple years about a billion **** pages would say duplicate content doesn't matter in this situation.

I don't think Google penalizes same content ads. Try making sure the header is different. It's the Quality Score(Conversion of your ads) that matters ultimately.

I actually got slapped for using duplicate content!!
Changed the contents and increased my bid. Took me 3 days before the QS started improving slowly.
