Best SEO WordPress Plug-Ins!!

For the past month I have provided my friends, local businesses, and fellow forum members a SEO service to boost their website ranking to the top page of G00gle, Yahoo, and Bing for specific keywords. Before I went to town on my techniques i asked my clients if their page was SEO optimized and by how so. All i got was a puzzled response, "What does SEO Optimized mean?"
At that moment it hit me on why Internet Marketers are struggling so much with SEO. SEO comes down to a science and can be compared to baking a cake. Without the right ingredients the worse the cake ends up. Not having a website SEO optimized is like putting cake mix in an oven and trying to bake the cake.
That Kinda Looks Like Cocaine..lol)

The first ingredient for ranking the highest in the top search engines is by installing the best SEO Plugins. For the past couple years i have jumbled various plugins with various websites to identify which plugins are the best. I have decided to post my list of the most effective plugins that have helped my sites rank on the first pages for the big 3 search engines and save all of you struggling SEO'ers plenty of time! Enjoy!

All in One SEO Pack - Because it works.
Strictly Auto Tags - this little plugin will check the posts that are being feed in and put the most relevant tags on it based on word density. It’s a good first run, and I don’t have to do it.
Auto SEO Tags - after Strictly Auto Tags does its work this one takes over, every time someone comes to a post on one of my blogs from one of the search engines (Big G, Yahoo, etc.), it uses the search terms they used to discover my post, and it automatically updates the tags on that post with those search terms.
SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 - This plugin uses all the search terms people use to find my blog and creates a search term tag cloud to help with SEO.
SEO Smart Links - This plugin will create links within your posts content, based on keywords, to other posts that you have.
Google XML Sitemaps – Because Google bots need a map sometimes to find all the great content you have to share.
The following 3 aren't specifically SEO, but G likes to see them, and does add ranking for them...
Contact Form 7 – Because some search engine companies (Big G) want people to be able to contact you, like you’re a real business. So, with this one all I had to do was drop in an email address, and it set up a very nice contact form for me. Easy…
Privacy Policy – I used to use a plugin for this, now I just create a page and paste in a template I use. G00gle likes this on websites.
Terms of Use – Just like with Privacy Policy.

If you have any questions feel free to ask!

IMHO, Platinum SEO is a bit more flexible because besides having all AIOSEO features, it has more reneral settings and more options on the post/page level.

AIOSEO is probably "enough" for most people, but if you want to have a bit more settings, Platinum SEO is the way to go.

I've been using Platinum SEO for a while now and am very happy with it.

If you need way more options, you can also try Ultimate SEO, but to be honest, it was too much for me.

    Hey Brad

Thanks for the list, didn't know about a couple of these plugins!

I would vote for All-In-One-SEO, it's awesome. Also, the Underground SEO something from the Underground Lab, it's useful, mainly for newbies. Oh and finally, SEO Pressor... it helps.

    Cheers!

Hey Naseer. Yes there is. I actually have a few problems with Host Gator and my Wordpress blogs. From what i have heard through IM friends in terms of the best for the most inexpensive hosting is..

      1. Hosting | Web Hosting | Brain Host Shared Hosting
      2. Inexpensive Web Hosting Starting at $3.50 | Hostwinds

For Plenty of Web Hosting Coupons here is a good forum.. I am not sure of the quality of Hosting with in but if you are going on price alone then definitely check this forum out Shared Hosting Offers - Web Hosting Talk

And I thought I was already using the best WP Plugins out there LOL.

Just added a few new ones to my WP plugin arsenal.

I got a question. I still use "Link Cloaking Plugin" for my affiliate links, but I read somewhere that either Google or WP don't like cloaking URLs.

Should I keep using this plugin to cloak my affiliate links or could I get in trouble?

I've started to move away from all in one SEO and platinum SEO, when they were first released they were awesome, but now there's so many other plugins that do what they do and a whole bunch more, recently i've been using SEO Ultimate, when I installed it I was able to uninstall like 3-4 other plugins, it has deeplinking features, 404 notifier & also the functionality of prettylinks and some others all rolled into one (and it's free of course)

obviously you don't use plugins that conflict or do the same jobs. Also having alot of plugins active can severely affect the performance of your website. Some plugins in particular are notorious for slowing down websites. But other plugins like W3 Total Cache help by caching the whole page, so all your scripts dont have to execute everytime the page loads. But as I've experienced with high traffic wordpress sites, even them plugins have a limit on how much they can do and you have to start optimizing and minimizing the use of the plugins.

Google has made site speed a small factor in determining SERPs and every little bit counts.
