But like I said the links have all been deleted except for PR sites. And only 22 of them so it seems that if it is an ago penalty it should be ok now?

I have a site that may of been hit by penguin, it never really ranked but is a 4 or 5 year old domain, it had a lot of backlinks, but I just check aherfs site and it now only shows 25 and all from PR...
