I just did a total calculation and I have that many emails in my inbox. Not including my other email accounts.

Lesson to be learnt: Don't go around joining everything that sounds good when doing Internet Marketing. It'll get you swamped and distracted.

Right now, I'm trimming down all the emails. Unsubscribing from more than half of them. The good ones, I'll keep.

Unfortunately, I'll have to say goodbye to Mike Filsaime as the stuff he sends me aren't really to "help" but to squeeze some money from me. Can't blame the guy - he does that for a living.

And hopefully, one day, I might be able to squeeze money from people with every email I send.

Actually, nope. That's not what I want. I'd rather be like Travis Sago. Sending an email that benefits the reader in his/her IM journey and only sending the occasional email about a product. I think that gets read more rather than sending "THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT" everytime - kinda kills my respect for whatever product is recommended.

And that's why there are so many people raining down on the "gurus" because the "gurus" are really top-notch experts at squeezing money.

    Asher,

Just My 2 Cents is an on the point post! Usually, we join people list in exchange for the "free offer". It, also, gives us an opportunity to see where the marketer is coming from... expert money squeezer, time waster or expert marketing teacher and find the good ones. But in the meantime, the process can be distracting.

You can often tell right away from the value of the "free offer" but sometimes it can take a little time to see who will continue to give value and beneficial information to guide and help you on your online marketing journey.

I agree with you, Travis Sago is one of the good internet marketing teaching experts. I recommend to be on his list, read his e-mails and learn from him.
