No Time For Success

There are so many things that go into finding success that finding the time to get it all done is a real challenge.

Almost all of us can relate to "so much to do, so little time". The world has a way of filling up our days to the point that we wonder how we are ever going to have our dreams of success become our reality.
I talked to my coach last night and I laid out everything that I have to do before I can say that I successfully brought my purpose to fruition.
Now, you may not relate to all of that but you know what it is like to try and fit everything that you need to do into a really tight schedule, especially if you are building a business while trying to live a life.
Here are some of the suggestions that JT Debolt, my coach, gave to me so that the next time he talked to me I had slept and still had a modicum of sanity left to my name.

Time is a gift
The only expectation that you can have is that you will do the best with the time that you have. There are only so many hours in the day and you just have to make the decision that you are going to treat that time like the gift that it is and use it wisely.
Focus on just one thing at a time. Decide that at this particular moment in time what the most important thing you need to accomplish is and just sit down and do it. Let everything else just hang out. Trust me, it won't go anywhere.
Steal time. When I take a few minutes to drink that protein shake at "lunch", do research online for information that I need for the articles or for the book. I had already decided that I would work for 1 hour at a time and then take a 10 minute break. Now, I use that break to do something that doesn't take much time, the dishes, folding laundry, adding to the list of problems that I need to solve for my customers. Not much appears to get done but it all starts to add up.
Be relentless
The people that really do find success are not the ones that have a lot of time to dedicate to their business. The ones that succeed are the ones that are relentless. They are the pit bulls of the world. The ones that take the task in their teeth and stay with it until they finish it.
Everybody and everything will try to steal your time. People will do everything that they can to get you to live based on what is important to them. You can get on facebook or youtube and spend time watching motivational videos or reading motivational quotes. None of this is going to get you to where you want to go, action will.
Write down 5 things every day that will get you to closer to your success and make them your priorities. There are going to be days that you aren't going to get past the first one. But as long as you give that one everything that you have and get it moving, you have had a successful day.
If you are relentless about going after your success, you are going to be in the top 10% of all entrepreneurs.
Celebrate your success
You don't need to throw yourself a parade but find something that you can do to tell yourself, "way to go".
Don't wait for big results before you celebrate. There are days that you need to just celebrate the fact that you showed up and gave it your best.
When you learn to handle that compressed timeline to success, you will find that your life moves with more ease and purpose.

- Finish the book on how women can find empowerment
- Write 5 articles that can be submitted to different publications
- Develop a new sales funnel for my MOBE business and take the business to the next level
- Advertise the DubLi and ILS businesses
- Write a series of follow up emails for each of the businesses
- Shop for and order all of the materials needed for the house that my brother and I are flipping
- Keep Southwest Gear up and in a profitable status
