Perhaps you may have seen some of the recent products being offered that automatically generate backlinks, promising page one on google, high traffic, automatically, push button money making.

It seems a little too good to be true….

You know what they say about that right?

Sure, you do, but you want to be convinced that this time its different, this time you will get to page one and your website will get "noticed" this time it is going to be different and this time you will make millions.

Ok, probably most of us, do not fall for this trick, but far too often we see this tactic employed on many websites where they are attempting to sell digital trash designed to automate and make your job so easy that even a caveman could do it.

So, lets have a look at these different concepts hopefully before you jump from the fire into the frying pan.

Concept one, (Automatic Backing and deep interlinking content) Automatic push button plugin that generates thousands of backlinks...

On the surface this might seem like a great method of developing a "trick" that will help your website get better ranking and more traffic and we all know that without traffic you cannot sell anything.

That is the most often forgotten factor, in product sales, you see so many of these products that claim you can make millions of dollars, with the "Push of a Button" but in reality if your website does not have traffic, your not going to make a dime.

One of the most popular, things to do is to promise "FAST" Search engine results.

The problem is the laws of nature are applicable, here, what goes up must go down.

So, all these Fast Results, guess what happens to them, they go down just as fast.

What goes up must come down…

We know this is true because it is one of the oldest laws of Physics, the law of Gravity, what goes up must come down, or else you have to keep up a high level of activity.

Sometimes it is better to work in the frame work of what you should be doing to promote your website rather than going for the gold and then not being able to maintain the near constant level of effort that is required to keep up an artificial rise to the top.

Over time it is better to find that optimal point of leverage than to seek the short cut to the top of the pile.

Find out more about SEO that really works not just for a little while but for the long haul...

I agree with you, Tim! Working within the ethical framework is better than taking shortcuts. Shortcuts will be found out---search engines are constantly developing methods to catch cheaters!
