Hi all, Nope, I didn't quit. I've actually put up 4 sites. Whew! In the course of putting up those sites, I've learned the following. It really does get easier the more you do it Maybe it's the routine mistakes you make, like forgetting to put the title of the site on the Home page or configuring the widgets or menus for your contents and specific titles. Maybe you worked out a "todo" list that works for one theme but is useless for another. Even so, time and practice are great...

Rome wasn't built in a day

Well, the past 2 weeks have been spent in a massive overhaul after the recent fire - or nuking of my hosting account.

Before the event I had actually spent several weeks building a few new sites - all of which had to be deleted and started again from scratch.

Over 35 websites in all went down in the blaze - one of which documented over 3 years of my online lawsuit adventure.

Amongst the massive written documentation going on (printed up for safe keeping)...

As an affiliate there are certain limitations in your marketing imposed by the merchant.

If the merchant's website doesn't convert it may not matter what you have on your affiliate site.

If the creatives offered by the merchant are just thrown together and are not effective then it is best not to use them.

Something I have done for many years is to develop my own creatives for a merchant's product.

This has even included creating a better slogan...

I put up 2 kindle books this year and it has been a new experience for me. I picked areas that I'm familiar with and didn't do recipes or some of the popular ones. I'm not too big on cooking so didn't want to harm anyone!

The kindle books are in the self-help and self-improvement niche. I gave away some review copies to friends and relatives and received some nice reviews. I also am using article marketing, social media and some of the marketing tips I picked up in Jimmy's report on...
